GO UTES

Yup Ed and I are U of U fans!!! We are both so happy that Utah got to go to the pack 10, now called the pack 12 but it is seriously so exciting. They have also done so awesome the games they have played so far. GO UTES!!!

Hockey

We got to go watch the Guns VS Hoses hockey game at the Ecenter on Saturday and it was awesome! The Guns VS Hoses was a hockey game done for charity, which was played by police officers and firefighters all over Utah. The boys had never been to a hockey game, and that day they got to see not only the Guns VS Hoses but also the Grizzly game too. We had a couple of friends who played for the Hoses team, and the firemen won. After the Guns VS Hoses game we went to Chilis with the firemen and had an hour wait because we had over 30 people in our party, but it was fun and worth it. After dinner we went back to the ecenter and watched the Grizzly game it was really fun!

Primary Children's

So every year Primary Children's hospital does a movie night for the kids and families who are in remission and or recovering. Now I guess in past years that is all they would allow in plus their families but as we have done this for multiple years they have started allowing kids who are still fighting and staying at the hospital to come down and visit with us and watch the movie.

This by far was one of the most worth while things I have ever done. We had an amazing turn out of people come dressed up and everyone was so polite and happy. We asked the kids some Star Wars trivia and if they answered right they got a prize. After the q&a we went into the hallway and visited with the kids and families and took pictures with them. Again I don't think I have done charity work that meant so much, it was truly and amazing experience.

At the end of the q&a Darth Vader got up and told the kids and their families, the show they were going to watch portrayed people as heroes but none of these characters came close to the heroism portrayed in this very room, by you children and your families. Then Darth Vader pointed to the audience and said you very people in this room are my heroes. I have never seen little kids faces light up quiet like that before. It was neat.

Ice Skating

So once again we were invited back to the Olympic Oval for their Hollywood movie night. We all got to dress in Star Wars gear and hang out in the lobby visiting with people as they came in to ice skate. After words they invited us to skate. We had an awesome time. They treated us so well and everyone was soooo excited to see us as they walked in.

We had a very Nerf Christmas, my parents gave all the boys these Nerf snipers that are taller than most 5 year olds, and they are awesome the boys love them.

Cannon got a sniper, a sword, and a crossbow for Christmas

Christmas Day

Christmas day was crazy but so much fun. We told the boys they could not wake us up before 6 A.M. so at 6 they came and got us. We opened our gifts and had a really good morning, then we went to my grandparents for breakfast and visited and opened gifts. After that we went to Ed's parents and exchanged gifts, and then we went to Ed's brothers to exchange gifts and visited there. Finally we got home and Ed and I took a nap while the boys played with their new toys.
