NERF!!!

We had a very Nerf Christmas, my parents gave all the boys these Nerf snipers that are taller than most 5 year olds, and they are awesome the boys love them.
Cannon got a sniper, a sword, and a crossbow for Christmas
Hunter got the big bad Gatling gun and the sniper.
Logan got the sniper for his birthday, but a cool glow in the dark one and a little hand gun
Ready for an all out Nerf war!!!

Christmas Day

Christmas day was crazy but so much fun. We told the boys they could not wake us up before 6 A.M. so at 6 they came and got us. We opened our gifts and had a really good morning, then we went to my grandparents for breakfast and visited and opened gifts. After that we went to Ed's parents and exchanged gifts, and then we went to Ed's brothers to exchange gifts and visited there. Finally we got home and Ed and I took a nap while the boys played with their new toys.

I had to get a picture before the bomb exploaded

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was incredible. We started out our wonderful day by finding a really good Chinese restaurant to take the boys for lunch and that was great. Later on I took Logan to my parents early to open his gifts from them and then I took him to his Aunt Laura's to have a good Christmas Eve with his dad.
Then Ed, Cannon, Hunter, and me went to my parents to have great food with so many wonderful people. Besides my immediate family, Winton and Addie, and the Richards came over. After we ate my brother played a really neat Nativity story on his computer for us, narrated by this little girl, it was so cute. Then we all got to open gifts and it was insane with how many people were there but it was great.
Cannon sporting his new sweater.
Camryn and Vala posing for Bethany and her new camera
I dressed up to, thanks to Jeri I wore this cute dress with heals and all.

Ed got a really nice food processer from my parents, a blue ray dvd, and a new keyboard from me and the boys. Cannon got a target gift card and a dart board, he doesn't get his gift from me and Ed until his actual birthday though.

Gingerbread House

This year my Grandma and Grandpa Curtis bought us a gingerbread house to do as a family. It was so much fun. We started out the night by having some tasty eggnog and began building our wonderful house. The boys were very inventive on how they wanted the house to look and I think they did a great job working together to make their design work!

The poor Gingerbread man did not run as fast as he can!
My attempts to keep the house standing.
Let it begin
Decorations and silly faces,
and Cannon is smiling on the inside!!!
Final touches.
The finished product
And the grinches who Stole Christmas!
Since last year when we did gingerbread houses we left them on the counter and our dog ate them in the middle of the night, I told the boys they could eat whatever they wanted. I had never heard so many laughs as they sang the grinch song and tore apart the cute little house. Then Logan asked if this means he will be put on the naughty list. Well this was a fun family activity and the boys worked hard to get a good treat in the end. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Update

So once again I am the worst blogger but here are a few new updates. We will start with Halloween. Halloween was really good this year. We had so many people to visit and of course Trick or Treating was very important. Logan dressed up as a Ninja, Hunter Dressed up Like the Scream Character, and Cannon didn't really dress up but had alot of fun. I wore my Stormtrooper and unfortunately we could not find a good Minnie Mouse costume for Ed. We started the day carving our pumpkins and had a blast then we made the rounds with visiting.

Hunter did his Pumpkin all by himself
He made a Clone Trooper

Logan did most of his Pumpkin by himself and
he made a really scary spider/scorpion. (it was just supposed to be a spider
but he put claws on and called it a Scorpion).
My Stormtrooper, Yes I am a Nerd
Ed did a Mandolorian Skull. Another Star Wars themed pumpkin.
So proud of my nerdy family.
We cut down trees and fount the bug logs to be perfect pedestools for our pumpkins.
Trick or Treat!!!
The best pic I have of us dressed up, sorry.

THANKSGIVING

Logans school did a feast for the first graders. They made placemats and fun
hats of Pilgrims or Indians and had a dance a song and tons of food.
I should have zoomed in but Logan didn't know I was coming and when
he saw me he gave me a thumbs up!
Logan was an Indian who loved Banana's and cookies.
Part of the dance with his cool vest and hat.
For Thanksgiving dinner we went to my parents house and it was a blast. Such good
food and family and friends. Our family was joined by Luke and Denise, and Winton
this year and it was a blast.
Jackson gave Logan a turkey hat. and Logan had a great Thanksgiving meal of pizza.
Cute Vala in her Twilight skirt my mom got her at the New Moon expo.
Dinners ready!!!
Vala and Cameron had so much fun together.
Cute stinker boys
Logan and Jackson had to run in for a pic too, but the other boys were
done taking pics.
I am not sure what this is but it was funny, think it might be due to

TEMPLE SQUARE
Ed and I took the boys to Temple Square friday after Thanksgiving, opening night for the lights. Ed's nephew and his girlfriend came with and it was a really nice evening. We took traxs up to Temple Square and we all had a good time.

Me, Hunter, and Logan waiting for the Nativity to start.
It was cold so we enjoyed a nice walk in the visiter's center and viewed the
Christus. Logan loved it in there especially because it felt like you were not on earth
you were somewhere special, he said.
Amazing lights no picture can do them justice.
The beautiful Temple
Every single branch on these trees had lights again it was amazing!
Group photo, I love that you cannot even see Cannon's face. It was very cold so I understand.
Family Photo
Train ride home, me and Hunter
Logan was able to tell us what every stop was and when we were supposed to get off.
Wonderful husband of mine.
Even Cannon had a blast on the train.
Well I know I am missing things like the school Halloween parade and Logans birthday but I will most definately get those on here soon.
