Ice Skating

So once again we were invited back to the Olympic Oval for their Hollywood movie night. We all got to dress in Star Wars gear and hang out in the lobby visiting with people as they came in to ice skate. After words they invited us to skate. We had an awesome time. They treated us so well and everyone was soooo excited to see us as they walked in.

NERF!!!

We had a very Nerf Christmas, my parents gave all the boys these Nerf snipers that are taller than most 5 year olds, and they are awesome the boys love them.
Cannon got a sniper, a sword, and a crossbow for Christmas
Hunter got the big bad Gatling gun and the sniper.
Logan got the sniper for his birthday, but a cool glow in the dark one and a little hand gun
Ready for an all out Nerf war!!!

Christmas Day

Christmas day was crazy but so much fun. We told the boys they could not wake us up before 6 A.M. so at 6 they came and got us. We opened our gifts and had a really good morning, then we went to my grandparents for breakfast and visited and opened gifts. After that we went to Ed's parents and exchanged gifts, and then we went to Ed's brothers to exchange gifts and visited there. Finally we got home and Ed and I took a nap while the boys played with their new toys.

I had to get a picture before the bomb exploaded

Hunter went straight for the biggest gift, which was a Nerf gun yay for nerf!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was incredible. We started out our wonderful day by finding a really good Chinese restaurant to take the boys for lunch and that was great. Later on I took Logan to my parents early to open his gifts from them and then I took him to his Aunt Laura's to have a good Christmas Eve with his dad.
Then Ed, Cannon, Hunter, and me went to my parents to have great food with so many wonderful people. Besides my immediate family, Winton and Addie, and the Richards came over. After we ate my brother played a really neat Nativity story on his computer for us, narrated by this little girl, it was so cute. Then we all got to open gifts and it was insane with how many people were there but it was great.
Cannon sporting his new sweater.

Gingerbread House

This year my Grandma and Grandpa Curtis bought us a gingerbread house to do as a family. It was so much fun. We started out the night by having some tasty eggnog and began building our wonderful house. The boys were very inventive on how they wanted the house to look and I think they did a great job working together to make their design work!

The poor Gingerbread man did not run as fast as he can!
My attempts to keep the house standing.
Let it begin
Decorations and silly faces,
and Cannon is smiling on the inside!!!
Final touches.
The finished product
And the grinches who Stole Christmas!
Since last year when we did gingerbread houses we left them on the counter and our dog ate them in the middle of the night, I told the boys they could eat whatever they wanted. I had never heard so many laughs as they sang the grinch song and tore apart the cute little house. Then Logan asked if this means he will be put on the naughty list. Well this was a fun family activity and the boys worked hard to get a good treat in the end. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
